The Rapsha Humanitarian Fund was established in 2008 with the aim of helping families in need in Rapsha e Hotit, Malësi e Madhe. Over the years, we have successfully raised funds to support various causes and make a positive impact in the Albanian community. One of our primary focuses has been on supporting individuals with disabilities, orphans, economic hardship, educational assistance, and promoting Albanian culture. We understand the importance of education and have provided educational assistance to help students achieve their academic goals. Additionally, we have extended a helping hand to those facing economic hardships, ensuring they receive the necessary support to overcome their challenges.Our commitment to serving the Albanian community extends to orphaned children as well. We have actively worked to improve the lives of orphans by providing them with essential resources and support. Moreover, we have been dedicated to preserving and promoting Albanian culture through various initiatives. Since 2010, we have organized annual reunion dinners, bringing together members of the Rapsha community in the USA. These gatherings serve as a platform for reconnecting with one another, raising funds, sharing stories, and strengthening the bonds within the community. Furthermore, we have hosted the Rapsha picnic every year, providing an opportunity for our community members to come together with their families and enjoy a day filled with fun activities and celebrations. The picnic serves as a joyful event that fosters a sense of unity and belonging among the participants. We are proud to have contributed to the restoration of the Albanian Catholic Church in Malësi – Rraxë. By providing financial support, we have helped ensure that the church remains a place of worship and cultural significance for the community. Another notable project we have supported is the Festivali Mbarëkombëtar Rapsha në Vitojë, Malësi e Madhe, a folkloric festival that celebrates Albanian heritage. Through our financial assistance, we have contributed to the success and preservation of this important Albanian cultural event. Recognizing the importance of safe and secure housing, we have also undertaken efforts to renovate houses for people in need. By improving their living conditions, we strive to provide a better quality of life and create a positive impact on their well-being. In collaboration with the St. Paul Albanian Catholic Church in Rochester Hills, we have organized the Logu i Shnjonit te Hotit event. This event showcases traditional Albanian music, dance, and culture, allowing community members to connect with their roots and celebrate their heritage. The Rapsha Humanitarian Fund remains committed to its mission of helping those in need and making a difference in the lives of individuals and the Rapsha community. We are grateful for the support we have received over the years and look forward to continuing our efforts in the future.
